picoSam 32 does (or should do) everything that picoSam 1 and 2 also promised. In a list:

Safe design: full isolation between PC and real world
- DC/DC converter isolates power supplies
- Opto couplers isolate digital signals
- ADC operates in real world only
- Analog inputs protected by zener diodes
Inexpensive ADC and opto couplers
Buffering of digital signals
LED indicators on all control lines to and from the ADC:
- CS = chip select
- DI = data to program the ADC
- DO = conversion results from ADC
- CLK = clock pulse to sync DI and DO signals
Integrators on ADC inputs
Adjustable power supply on ADC side (to calibrate ADC)

The opamp section to buffer the input signals has been removed. If you need this, create your own. In fact, if you need one, you need one to match your needs anyway.

To the right you see the first version of PicoSam 3 (or 32) based on the circuit described above. It is mounted inside one half of a (blue) symmetrical shell case. The LM 317 pumps out 5.12 Volts, the DC/DC converter pumps out 10 Volts and the second 7805 brings this down to the usual 5 Volts. All LED's can be controlled in software.
So it's time for some serious testing!
