Switching over to HTML 5
After having managed my sites with HTML 3.2 (and lots of dirty tricks) for close to a decade, it is the time to switch over to something more standard in these times. I considered XHTML but that's the C++ of HTML languages. So much structure that it cannot be used anymore.
So I decided to migrate to HTML 5. Which is a bit of a risk since major players like (the dreaded) Google have
adopted it, but some other major players (notably Sony and Nokia) for some political reason are trying to
torpedo it. Still, I will convert my pages to it, since it comes close to a Wirthian HTML version (although
not very close).
I wish there was an HTML version designed by Professor Wirth.....
